About Me

I’m an intuitive healer, artist and writer. I also have ADHD, which has lead me to explore many paths in life. At first, I practiced law as an appellate attorney, writing briefs. Then, I started teaching yoga to help people heal. Once I became a mom, parenting my kids became my passion. As a mom of neurodivergent Black boys, I am passionate about ensure of a my boys have a deep understanding of themselves, Black history and Black excellence. I see homeschool as an opportunity to give them a strong foundation in life.

My Mission

I am a spiritual Waldorf and Charlotte Mason inspired homeschooler. I strive to give my boys a creative, child-directed, play-based education that includes reading, nature, art, music, games and a strong foundation in math and writing.

My Vision

I am committed to raising peaceful, honest, humble humans that are creative, spiritually connected, love learning, think critically and live joyful and generous lives full of adventure, connection and life-long learning.

My Values

I believe that we are all humans deserving of love. I believe we have a duty to honor and protect Mother Earth and her children. I believe there is one divine force in the universe that goes by many names and people have sought to connect with and understand this divine force in many different ways over time. I believe that thoughts, music, herbs, and food all have the power to heal or do harm. I believe we all have talents and desires that we are called to share with the world to make it better. I believe success is found by being grounded in love and understanding ourselves. I also believe the best things in life are free—love, friends & family, nature, laughter, creativity, library books and so much more.
